About the Founder(s)
Heart Rose Care Foundation was founded in 2007 by an emotional health personnel and therapist, Mrs Esther Oyebola Adekoya. Being a vast writer also, she decided to write about different psychological ills such as anger, sadness, suicide, and so on. While doing this, she noticed that the underlying suffering for all of these negative emotions is DEPRESSION.
Having her fair share of this same emotional ill (Depression) which made her feel unfulfilled, lonely, and bitter; as she had passed through an unpleasant experience. After this unpleasant experience, she swore in her heart to expose this deadly emotional disease, and that is what brought about the Heart Rose Care Foundation.
Heart Rose Care Foundation is a registered social sector not-for-profit governmental organization with the Corporate Affairs Commission in Nigeria. This initiative has zero tolerance for the emotional scourge known as DEPRESSION which is ravaging every stratum in our society from the cradle to the grave.
Over the years, they have been promoting and restoring emotional wellness to the depressed through education and therapeutic supports. Their unrelenting efforts and impact toward this, they have received some prestigious awards which include:
