Widows in Ile-Ife recently experienced the kind gesture of Queen Blessing Foundation QBF empowerment. QBF was founded by actress and movie producer, Queen Blessing Ebigieson.
It was indeed a big day and valentine special that took place at the Ooni’s Palace. Widows came in their droves to receive sewing machines, clothing materials and be feted at the event. Despite her busy schedule, Ooni’s wife, Olori Naomi Shilekunola Ogunwusi was present in person to celebrate the widows. She thanked the convener and founder of Queen Blessing Foundation, Blessing Ebigieson for choosing Ile-ife to support the widows.
Queen Blessing said she was elated seeing the widows radiate with joy. “QBF Widows support program Osun 2020 was a big success. I always look forward to meeting widows and aged women and supporting them whichever way we can. Thank you to everyone who supported us most especially Mr jimi Agbaje, Prof Pat Utomi, Apostle Johnson Suleman and her royal majesty Queen Naomi Adeyeye Ogunwusi. I love you ma.”
Some of those present were Lagos State Actors Guild of Nigeria AGN chairperson, Moji Oyetayo.
Earlier, the Ooni, His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II received the QBF Humanitarian Ambassador Award 2020 in his palace for his contribution to humanity both in Nigeria and in the Diaspora. In his words, the Ooni said he was honoured and thanked the foundation for honouring him with the Queen Blessing Foundation Humanitarian Ambassador award 2020 and promised to support the foundation
