A health organisation, Reach Care Foundation (RCF), has advised health workers within and outside the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to take necessary precautionary measures in their daily activities, in order to stay alive.
A board member of the organisation, Dr. Nandul Durfa, who gave the advice at a press briefing in Abuja, also charged health workers to be cautious of their health and that of their patients, in order not to be infected with Lassa fever and other diseases.
Durfa also called on Nigerians health workers to take advantage of the new Veslex Protective Apparel, which he noted is a fabric uses in hospitals in USA, that has proven to be highly repellent fluid barrier and durable antimicrobial.

The vertex has just been introduced into Nigeria, in order to curtain the menace of exposure of health workers to infections in the cause of performing their duties.”
